Job Description
BI PROJECT MANAGER (QlikView) FTC – RECfinancial are delighted to be recruiting a BI Project Manager for this Leicestershire based business as they implement a new SAP system. This role is FTC to cover maternity for but may well be extended.
So what are we looking for in a BI Project Manager?
Working with the FP&A team and central function, the BI Project Manager will act as the mainstream lead into the SAP Project, delivering a workable and accurate version of the QlikView tool to identify and solve gaps in data between old and new sources.
The role will be responsible for scoping out the next applications to be developed as part of the project, understanding their current use, identifying data points and resolving any data gaps that occur Following completion of the SAP project the role will migrate to be the Senior BI Analyst for the BI tool managing pipeline development requests through to completion until the end of the maternity cover contract

Your role as BI Project Manager (QlikView) will involve the following;

Responsible for updating and delivery of the project to agreed timescales
Manage and prioritise workload
Work with the SAP team and organise manage change
Prepare acceptance testing of developed application for functionality, data accuracy and consistency
Scoping the next applications to be used, mapping data and identifying gaps, providing solutions
Supporting the business with cutover and go-live phase whilst helping and training end users
Post SAP, to drive the use of QlikView across the business, identifying, scoping, developing and testing new reports/applications
What skills with you have as a BI Project Manager (QlikView)?

Analytical with an ability to think strategically and provide recommendations which challenge the status quo
Problem solving, detecting, chasing and investigating using self initiative to get to the bottom of problems and resolve them
Strong Change Management skills through the use of networking and being able to facilitate and manage cross functional relationships
Strong presentation skills to all levels of the organisation to facilitate communication, influence and giving direction to a team of external developers and SAP project team members
Attention to detail in scoping new work and testing old work with strong numerical and analytical skills to look further and deeper into issues
Strong BI tool development experience (QlikView experience preferred) and can demonstrate ability to deliver projects on time
Experience in testing and training
