Banking Financial Accountant- Mandarin Job in EC2R, Bassishaw, Greater London

Job Description
Our client an international bank is seeking for a Banking Financial Accountant-Fluent Mandarin speaker to join their team on a permanent basis.

It is essential for all candidates applying to have previous banking experience in the UK.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Internal expenses management and review;

Internal accounts management and review;

Nostros accounts reconciliations;

Monthly/Quarterly/Annual financial reports preparation;

Regulatory reporting to BOE, PRA and FCA on regular basis;

taxation returns preparation, including VAT and Corporation Tax;

Major systems implementation, testing and maintenance;

System and project development;

Liaising with internal/external audit;

Assist in branch budget management;

Assist in project and policy review;

The role may from time to time be required to undertake additional or other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the bank's business/operation.

Skills and knowledge

Degree holder, minimum

Part Qualified / Qualified accountant

Minimum 3 years working experience in UK Banking industry, Finance department, preferably a smaller foreign bank

Demonstrable relevant experience

Attention to details, willing to work in a fast paced small finance team with a positive attitude
