Job Description
Assistant Management Accountant| Bridgnorth area | Permanent| Circa £32,000
Immediate opportunity available for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant with an enthusiastic and flexible approach to their work to join a fast-growing, exciting business in the Bridgnorth area.
The Company
An excellent opportunity has arisen for our client based in the Bridgnorth area to work as part of their busy and friendly Finance team.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the below;
* Preparation of the management account working papers, including extracting the data from the other till systems to process into Microsoft Business Central.
* Maintain the Fixed Asset Register.
* Reconciling the balance sheet, including till reconciliations.
* Support with processing supplier invoices utilising the document capture technology in MS Dynamics and other finance functions
* Analysis and processing of expenses claims including business credit cards.
* Bank posting and bank reconciliations.
* Liaise with Team HODs and communicate efficiently regarding approvals and payment runs.
* Support with weekly payment runs.
* Preparing ad hoc reporting and supporting with analysis when required by the Finance Manager.
* Support the Finance Manager with the management accounts review, the annual audit and VAT returns.
* Any other tasks as required.
Personal Profile
We are looking to speak with experienced Assistant Management Accountants who are either part qualified or qualified by experience. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, whilst also understanding the importance of the role for others in the team. You will have excellent attention to detail, with very good written and verbal communication skills, and will be highly organised with good time management skills.
