Assistant Head of Accounting Services – Hybrid Job Job in LE65, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire

Job Description
We're currently recruiting for an Assistant Head of Accounting Services to join our client based in Ashby.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management and development of a growing team across 3 locations.
This will be a hybrid role, but you will need to be flexible to work occasionally from the other sites.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Oversee the rural client accounts team based in 3 locations
* Ensure that RICS guidelines are followed
* Monitoring the team and developing their knowledge base
* Ensure common practices across all client accounts departments for
* Involvement in the review and implementation of changes to accounting software systems
Skills and experience required:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
* Experience of consultancy-based service business desirable
* Understanding of property and ideally rural accounting
* Good working knowledge of property accounting systems (desirable)
* Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables / VLOOKUP's & HLOOKUP's)
* People management skills (experience of multiple locations desirable)
Hours of work:
* Monday to Friday 8.45am – 5.15pm (1-hour lunch break)
Salary and benefits:
* £50,000 – £65,000
* 25 days holidays + bank holidays + birthday off
