You will support the Financial Accounts & Compliance Manager in managing accounting for overseas offices making sure they are completed in a timely manner. You’ll also:

In this role you will:
* Produce and review monthly management accounts from overseas offices and the London Virtual offices. These will include management accounts for dormant entities, initial reviews of submitted office accounts and monthly consolidation and posting into WorkDay.
* Maintain relationships with overseas offices, Heads of Offices and London’s IIDA teams (International Institutions & Donor Assurance) through the establishment and chairing of monthly ‘ways of working’ meetings;
* Act as a central point of contact for IFI and IIDA teams
* Provide oversight and SME knowledge of the annual salary, bonus and revenue review processes with the IFI/IIDA offices in accordance with BDO Group timelines.
* Produce of annual budgets.
* Update of charge out rates in accordance with BDO Group policies.
* Establish project plans – act as a key part of the implementation team to align the processes of the IFI and IIDA teams as closely as possible with the BDO Group. For example,
* Transition the control of balance sheet reconciliations (not the preparation and review) to the Reconciliation Control Accountant.
* Ensure that all relevant regulatory documentation for all entities are maintained in the UK. Including but not limited to Formation documents, Annual statutory accounts, Tax returns and VAT returns.
* Conduct Independent Financial Reviews of IFI/IIDA offices.

* An accountancy qualification
* Previous experience producing management accounts.
* Proficiency in Outlook and Excel.
* Business partnering skills.
* Experience of working in professional services or a partnership desirable but not essential.
* Good communication skills, both oral and in writing.
* French language desirable but not essential.
* Good attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good planning and organisational skills to balance and prioritise work.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
