Job Description
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a well-established business based in the Doncaster area as they look to recruit a passionate Assistant Accountant to join their stable finance team!

So, if you're looking to join a large business within the engineering industry, which provides a clear pathway of progression then this is the role for you!

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

* Produce full analysis and breakdown of utility general ledgers reviewing invoiced balances and maintenance of unbilled spreadsheet
* Calculating monthly accounting entries
* Maintenance of general ledger accounts, financial data, accounting records and any relevant databases
* Preparation of bank and cash pool reconciliations on a monthly basis
* Daily reconciliation of bank payments and receipts to cash pool statements and bank accounts
* Monitoring and making payments for all group companies
* Decentralisation of invoices within areas of responsibility
* Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis on monthly balances within areas of responsibility
* Providing relevant financial information and forecasts for annual budget and forecasting process
* Work closely with Controlling, Tax and Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & Procurement regarding any queries & reporting

To be successful you MUST have the following attributes:

* AAT qualified
* Studying CIMA or ACCA – desirable
* Strong communication skills
* Target focused and driven
* Able to work well as part of a team
* Good with Excel
* Good with IT systems
