Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a temp to perm position for one of our clients based in Shefford was is recruiting for an experienced Accounts/Purchase Ledger
Key Responsibilities
Play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to the Business Change Process (BCP)
Monitor progress with effective and prompt communication when non adherence is seen
Prevent further activity until approval is granted
DEVELOP AND DRIVE CHANGE
Lead by example ensuring your behaviour deliver a program of continuous improvement
Aid and assist colleagues to work together as a single team with an understanding of where cultural differences exist
Develop and drive a culture of consistent ‘audit readiness’ (way of life)
Deliver an environment where customer, internal and external, requirements are delivered 24/7
DAY TO DAY
Day to day control of Sales ledger and Purchase ledger.
Accurate and timely Invoicing.
Liaising with SOP for integrity of product description and price
Liaising with despatch and transport for the provision of paperwork (signed Pod’s)
Raising of credit notes and manual invoices for authorisation.
Credit and risk control.
Sales ledger reconciliations of all debtors.
Aged debtor reporting.
To sort and answer customer queries.
To maintain and reconcile cashbook.
To maintain and reconcile cash receipts.
Bank reconciliations
To file and maintain all information that may be requested at a later date.
Running month end reports.
