About the role:

The Receivables Assistant role sits within the Finance Shared Service Centre Receivables Team and is responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate and efficient processing of all daily takings information and provide support for all surgeries within the IVC Evidensia group.

Responsibilities:

* Receiving, reconciling and posting the daily takings information onto the system for current and newly acquired surgeries within agreed SLAs

* Follow the specific escalation process where practices are failing to deliver the information on time and to the correct standard

* Ensure month-end is delivered on time and to a high standard

* Following up queries with the individual practices and liaising with the Banking team to resolve as necessary

* Verify differences and to ensure that the company protected against fraud

* Petty cash items over 30 days should be queried, evidence gathered and reconciled

* Float items over 30 days should be queried, evidence gathered and reconciled

* Query resolution and mailbox management with internal teams, clinics and local finance co-ordinators.

* Supporting and coaching the practices with the Takings process

* Upholding best practise compliance and audit-supporting documentation

* Liaising with key stake holders such as the Banking and Integration teams.

* Any other tasks as required

Desirables:

· Experience in a similar role.

· Confident with dealing with high volume workload

· Experience of working with financial systems

· Experience of Open Accounts would be an advantage

· Language skills
