Accounts Payable Project Assistant l Manchester l £28-30k l Sustainable Solutions l Hybrid Working model

Job Overview:

Axon Moore are delighted to be working  with a highly successful sustainable solutions business who are experiencing exponential growth. This would be an excellent opportunity for a part qualified AAT (or similar qualification) candidate with process improvement experience who is pro-active, hardworking and able to multi-task to join the business as they continue to grow incrementally while investing in their people and operations.

Salary: £28-30k

Location: Manchester

Main Duties:

Take ownership of key P2P Improvement sub-Projects
Deliver agreed process improvements, working with FSSC and Regional staff
Identify opportunities for process improvement
Support AP Manager to deliver FSSC monthly KPI reporting
Assist with maintaining Process manuals for AP team
Provide SAP and Readsoft training and support for AP team
Core AP Processing tasks / Other Ad Hoc duties as required

Person Specification:

Part-Qualified AAT or similar qualification, with Process Improvement experience
Previous experience in Accounts Payable (min 2 years)
Excellent IT skills and previous experience using SAP is essential. Previous experience using Readsoft desirable (or other scanning & workcycle system)
Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and levels
Ability to process a high volume of invoices while maintaining a close attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy
Flexible & able to adapt to new processes & procedures swiftly with minimal supervision
Excel skills at intermediate level
