Job Description
An experienced Accounts Payable Manager is required to join our client’s growing business in Northampton.
This is an excellent opportunity that offers the chance to develop/progress and where you’ll make a positive impact from the start.
This role reports to the Financial Controller and you will have a small team to manage.
Duties will include:
* Leading, motivating and mentoring a team.
* Annual appraisals and training, where required.
* Ensuring that supplier procedures are completed for all approved suppliers.
* Completing due diligence procedures relating to suppliers.
* Overseeing the preferred supplier list, contractual terms and conditions.
* Ensuring that all transactions are in compliance with procurement policy.
* Ensuring that PO requests are authorised by Cost Centre Owners.
* Revising and reconciling supplier invoices.
* Liaising with Cost Centre Owners regarding issues and resolving them.
You should have relevant previous experience, be pro-active in reviewing processes, positive, organised and with the ability to build strong working relationships.
