Data Analyst

Hatfield

£22,000-£24,000 dependant on experience

If you have a background in business administration/finance or data analysis and can demonstrate you can work effectively in a small team, then this could be just the role for you.

Tate are delighted to be working with a long-standing fast-growing client located in Hatfield, where there's a culture of innovation, passion and care for the customer and each other.

Key responsibilities:

* You will work closely with senior team members by managing and administering the services offered by the Business

* You will support the head office team with administration assistance regarding all internal and external customer offerings

* Experience compiling reports will be useful, as you will report on sales and money collected from both internal and external customers/partners

* You will chase monthly purchase and rebate reports from suppliers, generate invoices and reconcile against money received and chase suppliers for outstanding payments

* Attention to detail is key as you will input supplier information onto Excel and compile monthly reports, highlighting purchases made from each supplier, rebates, charges and net payments to be made including VAT reporting

* You'll compile monthly finance reports highlighting total income received and payable including VAT breakdown as well as ad-hoc reports for customers and report quarterly payment of commissions

* You are required to be aware of and keep up to date of changes to, all FCA and TCF principles and guidelines and provide support to Finance Manager and Managing Director as required

Key skills and competencies:

* You must demonstrate excellent customer service for both internal and external customers and have strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Excellent planning, organisational and analytical skills are required, along with attention to detail and data analysis skills

* Excellent time management skills with a methodical approach to tasks

* Self-motivated and able to work independently

* Solid understanding of computer software packages including MS Excel pivot tables
