Accounts Payable Assistant

South Birmingham – £25,000 – £28,000 pa

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional with CIS experience?

What will you be doing:

As part of a busy Accounts Payable team, you can expect to get involved in:

* Processing weekly payments to subcontractors in line with contractual terms

* Verifying Subcontractor status with HMRC including monthly returns

* Provision of technical CIS advice to the business

* Supplier statement reconciliations

* Preparation of payment runs

* Liaise with various suppliers to resolve queries in a timely fashion

* Maintain subcontractor accounting within the finance system

* Support the Accounts Payable Manager in the Month-end routines

What they’re looking for in you:

To be considered, you will need to have demonstrable experience of working in a high-volume Accounts Payable function with experience in CIS/Subcontractor invoicing. If you have a great eye for detail and an ability to manage multiple, changing priorities then you’ll fit in well here.
