Job Description
Adecco Recruitment are currently recruiting for on behalf of our client, an Accounts Payable Administrator to join the UK Headquarters of an international organisation based in Bamber Bridge, Preston.

Full time/Permanent – Mon to Fri 40 hour week

Hours 8.30am to 5.30pm (or flexible from 8am start to 6pm finish)

Salary dependent on experience

This is a stand alone role, where you will be using your own initiative, but you will be supported from within the accounts/finance team.

The Role

As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you would be responsible for coding/inputting the supplier invoices onto the bespoke system, making BACS/ Cheque payments to suppliers, monitor monies outstanding to suppliers, checking, and reconciling statements and dealing with ADHOC Accounts Payable Queries.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Payable Administrator will assist the accounts department when necessary, providing any information required from the Group Director of Finance or our parent company.

Experience of working within a group structure and multi-currency would be highly advantageous.

Strong working knowledge of Excel is a prerequisite to this position.

Accounts Payable Administrator Roles and Responsibilities but not limited to:

· Supplier invoice coding and invoice input into the bespoke system

· Supplier invoice authorisations

· Invoice Queries and Resolution

· Monthly supplier statement reconciliations

· Reporting bank balances to Director of Finance and parent company

· Staff Credit Card and Expense postings and payments

· Distribution of Petty Cash

· Weekly BACS/ Cheque payment runs

· Monthly recharges to company subsidiaries

· Dealing with claims from our factories monthly

· Reconciling our main supplier account on a bi-weekly basis

· ADHOC Month end duties

· ADHOC Accounts Payable Duties
