Job Description
Working within the accounts department, the role works primarily on the purchase ledger and on the payroll. You will be involved in all aspects of these functions and will need to be a team player, working with your colleagues to maintain the ledgers and close the month ends in a timely manner.

My client is a friendly and established business based in Redditch.
Description
All aspects of operating the purchase ledger, including matching invoices to GRNs and posting onto our system. Reconciliation of supplier statements and communicating with suppliers to resolve differences. Make payments to suppliers and post remittances. Update cash flow and payment plan spreadsheets. Deal with expenses and various daily reports.
All aspects of operating a payroll, including calculation of hours worked from timesheets. Running the payroll on Sage 50 Payroll. Help maintain the time and attendance system. Printing reports and submitting to HMRC. Supporting and maintaining the employee database in sage and Bright HR.
Ad hoc duties to cover other staff holidays and absences which may include Credit control.
Profile
Working knowledge of Excel and Word.
Preferred knowledge of SAP Business One.
Preferred knowledge of sage 50 payroll.
