Kenton Black Finance are working with a business in the Preston area who pride themselves on their family ethos. Our Client are now seeking to appoint an Accounts Assistant who either has at least 1 years' experience or someone studying towards an AAT qualification. Full training and continued development is on offer to the right candidate, so, if you're looking for your first step after leaving University, or you have recently passed an AAT qualification, then please get in touch.
Your new role as the Accounts Assistant:
As the Accounts Assistant, you will report directly to the Transactional Finance Manager. You will carry out the following duties:-
• Match purchase orders to invoices and upload to the accounting system for multiple companies
• Liaise with other departments to ensure purchase orders are receipted
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Assist with maintaining the centralised purchase ledger inbox
• Ad hoc duties
Experience & Qualifications required to apply:
• Experience of computerised accounting systems
• Experience of posting to multiple company Nominal and Purchase ledgers
• Experience of dealing with internal and external customers in an effective manner
• Experience of working within strict accounting deadlines
• Experience of working with Microsoft Office packages, including Excel
