Accounts Assistant

£25,000 – £30,000 + Training + Progression + 33 Days Holiday + Pension + Flexibility

Are you an Accounts Assistant looking for a varied and autonomous role within a tight knit but well-established company known for their work life balance and generous holiday allowance?

On offer is the opportunity to join a leading industrial parts manufacturer. They supply the Aggregate, Agricultural, FMCG, Mining and Automotive industries, with blue chip commercial clients making up their order book.

Your role will involve production of monthly management accounts, reconciliation of balance sheets, month end reporting, VAT returns and submitting forms to HMRC.

This opportunity would suit an experienced part qualified (or qualified by experience) accountant looking to expand their experience and be part of a small, flexible working team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Finance and Business Operations and will gain a complete understanding of accounting for an engineering-based business.

* Experience in a finance department
* Strong performance in numerate A-levels or AAT
