Stockport BDC have a new opportunity for a Accounts Assistant/ Cashier to join their busy Accounts team who are responsible for the day-to-day accounting function.
The role:
Allocating payments received via bank statement and daily banking
Maintaining company's Sales Ledger
Liaising with customers
Intercompany reconciliations
Assisting with the monthly Sales Ledger close
Other ad-hoc duties as requiredYou will have:
Ideally have 2 years' experience in a similar role
Preferably have experience in the motor trade (Desired, but not essential)
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
Be very organised due to the size of the accounts
Have good communication skills for contact with customers and departmental managersKnowledge & Experience:
Kerridge desirable
Motor trade desirable
