We are an established and rapidly expanding company. We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our professional team. We are offering a chance for training and a chance to join a business with a modern, high-tech office with a dedicated highly motivated and friendly team.

Accountant Responsibilities:

Accountants with experience will have specific responsibilities, such as creating accounting reports, dealing with incoming invoices and general accounting duties.

Some of the typical duties you will be doing include:

* Ensuring candidates and staff are paid on time and correctly

* Creating and checking ledger entries

* Processing invoices, including entering the details into a database and performing regular checks

* Checking receipts against expenses and claims and entering the details into the payment system

* Using computerised accounting systems for responding to enquiries and providing data to management

* Entering data about sales and refunds

* Completing and submitting VAT returns

* Processing National Insurance payments

* Preparing documentation for external auditors

* 1-5 years’ experience needed

* Experience in using MS Excel and experience with accounting software such as Xero, Sage etc.

* You will have the ability to work under pressure, be a team player, be adaptable and you must be computer literate

Accounting Requirements:

* You will have strong written and verbal English communication skills

* You will have a can do attitude and positive outlook

* We expect you to act as a professional and show a sense of urgency about getting results

* You must a high level of service delivery and producing results

* Ideally have a qualification in accountancy such as ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent degree with experience.

* We are looking for experienced candidates with a University degree and accounting experience ideally within a recruitment business.

Start Date: ASAP

The successful candidate will need 1-5 years accounting experience gained working in successful recruiting company. This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience within recruitment and develop a long-term career in the industry.
