Job Description
Based in Brackley, Northamptonshire, this role as a Credit Controller will see you along with the wider team being responsible for the credit control function of a business that generates approx. 5000 invoices per month across a 6000+ customer base. The company offers free on-site parking and a company performance related bonus scheme.
As Credit Controller you will:
* Control and manage a set number of assigned customer accounts ensuring the timely payment of invoices, resolving any account queries or credit claims and develop excellent relationships with customers.
* Work to minimise bad debts and to ensure that invoices are paid to terms.
* Allocate payments.
* Be responsible for suspense review and resolving amounts held on suspense.
* Be responsible for aged debt, weekly banking and weekly bank receivables reporting.
We are really keen to speak to people who have the following skills and experience:
* Demonstrable credit control / debt collection experience.
* Experience of Microsoft Office packages.
* A keen eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy.
* The ability to build relationships with customers.
* The confidence to chase for payment whilst adopting a firm but fair approach.
If you have any of the following that would be beneficial but is not a specific requirement:
* An AAT or related qualification.
* Experience of Microsoft Dynamics.
* Experience related to Franchise, Property Services, Landscaping, Grounds Maintenance, Facilities Management, Retail Chain, Pub Chains or Multi-Site companies.
In return, the Credit Controller will receive a salary of up to £27,500 pa plus 31 days holiday including bank holidays.
