Job Description
Accountant – study support, parking, hybrid working, modern working environment   £32,000 to £42,000

Our client is a very modern and forward-thinking firm of Accountants with offices based in Guildford, Surrey.  They are looking for a commercial and client focussed Client Accountant to join the team and can offer a hybrid role with some remote working, OR if preferable, the position can be office based in their smart offices which are situated close to excellent transport links.

As a Client Accountant, you will report to the Directors, and work closely with the management team to deliver an exceptional service to their growing client base. The clients are typically SME companies and cover a wide range of industries. This is a relaxed team environment, and the hybrid work solution certainly offers a healthy work/life balance. You will enjoy working with entrepreneurial Directors who are committed to a steady and achievable growth strategy.

To secure this exciting position, you will already have at least 3 years of experience gained within Practice or Industry and Commerce. Applications are welcome from AAT Qualified Accountants, ACCA (actively studying) and individuals who are commercial and keen to offer solutions to clients.  

The duties are varied and will include the following:

Production of annual accounts for small, limited companies and sole traders

Assisting with self-assessment Tax Returns

General Bookkeeping, including the preparation of VAT returns 

Providing general financial advice and business guidance

Handling client queries and onboarding new clients

Plenty of direct client interaction

Based in Guildford, the role is commutable from Epsom, Leatherhead, Dorking, Reigate, Woking, Godalming, Farnham, Farnborough, Aldershot, Cranleigh, Camberley and surrounding areas.
