Job Description
Simple Recruitment are seeking an Accountant for our client in Bath to join their team on a permanent basis.
Salary:
Dependant on experience
Hours:
Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm. There can be flexibility with working hours and home working. However, regular attendance in the office is needed. A more junior position will however require office working.
Key duties of this role include:
* Ability to manage a portfolio of Clients in a professional manner
* Production of corporate and personal tax returns
* Providing Clients with advice on their accounts and tax compliance
* Producing financial statements
* Ability to use software including IRIS, QuickBooks, Xero and Sage
* Further duties as required in connection with client’s needs
Key attributes and experience:
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant in Practice, who is motivated and enthusiastic.
You should be part or fully qualified in ACA, ACCA or AAT and ideally have 5 years’ experience at senior level.
A strong customer focus is essential, as is the ability to work at all levels. A knowledge of IR35, CGT and IHT would be advantageous.
A more junior candidate may be considered, providing they have at least one year’s experience in Practice and have AAT Level 4.
