Job Description
Robert Walters are delighted to be working with a client based in Borehamwood looking for an Treasury & Reconciliations Officer to join their friendly but busy team following a continued increase in client demand. This is a permanent role which will be reporting into the Financial Controller. The business have an incredibly busy environment and are looking to continue growing bringing about internal opportunities for development. You will be expected to assist the rest of the team with both sides of the ledger, month-end processes, and creating various different financial reports.
Duties for the Treasury & Reconciliations Officer:
Accurately raising sales ledger invoices.
Making sure that all accounts reflect the most accurate information at all times.
Monitoring and reporting variances, risks and opportunities in all transactions.
Guaranteeing no account is out of budget or formal approval.
Completing daily reconciliations on various accounts.
Handling internal and external queries.
Assisting Management Accounts with Month-End reporting processes.
Guaranteeing constant information flow, allowing all external partners to operate as efficiently as possible.
Working closely with all internal teams to guarantee maximum profitability.
Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
To be considered successful, the ideal candidate must:
Have a proven background within a similar role and understand basic accounting principles.
Have excellent communication skills.
Have strong interpersonal skills.
Be able to work in a team.
Strong Excel skills desirable.
Have studied to some degree of AAT, ACCA, CIMA or hold a relevant Accountancy degree.
This Treasury & Reconciliations Officer role is based in Borehamwood and the salary is £28,000 – £32,000 plus company specific benefits
