Job Description
GTS International is currently recruiting for Trainee Paraplanners in Edinburgh.

Our client is a financial wealth management firm who is going through substantial growth and looking to add to its fantastic strong financial planning team. 

As a Trainee Paraplanner you will provide a top-quality service to their customers, by producing quality documents that provide clear advice, based on market research and the clients’ financial objectives.

The role will also include-

Assisting the financial planner with formulating the advice to the client.
Provide research and analysis of investment funds and financial projects to ensure you are providing the right service and advice to the clients.
Preparing financial plans, and presenting the clients current position, as well as where they need to be and how they will get there.
Ensuring work is completed to agreed SLA’s.
Undertake any project work as and when required.
Maintain client records, and update client information to ensure an active audit trail.To be considered for this role you will have started your studies within Financial Planning and be looking for a role to support you and your studies.

Ideal experience includes:

Working towards or looking to work towards a Diploma within Financial Planning
Experience of working within a financial services role. 
Good practical knowledge of the financial services sector.
Extensive experience of working on MS Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint.You will need to be a commutable distance from Edinburgh, but hybrid working 1-2 days per week in the office is offered once you have completed training. 

Salary is up to £37,000 per annum depending on experience
