Job Overview

An exciting new vacancy has opened in a fast-paced growing business. You will be trained and learn the basics by a manager who has grown into the Finance Manager / Director role starting as an apprentice. You will not only learn how the computer calculates accounts but learn the double entry and the manual way of calculating.

Your role will be to help all functions of Finance, you will be raising sales invoices, posting purchase ledger invoices, help with month end accounts and help to prepare the budgets and cashflows. We also have the procurement team who will also show you how the journey of the invoice beings, you will be raising Purchase Orders and seeing how we can buy smarter.

Responsibilities and Duties

Raising Sales Invoices and supporting Credit Control
Processing Purchase Invoices and supporting the Accounts Assistant
Raising Purchase orders and supporting Procurement
Helping and supporting the Finance Manager with day-to-day tasks and reports
Helping and supporting the Finance Manager with month end tasks and reports
Analysis work of sales and purchases.
All round separate training on manual accounts and understanding how sage and other accounts packages work and use double entrySupporting the finance team in all aspects of accountancy
