Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Account Handler to join us at our offices located in Croydon. In this role you will be focused upon renewals and have aspects of underwriting responsibility.

We are looking for a bright, personable, self-motivated individual for this role. You will be working within our Commercial Schemes team and will have responsibility to complete allocated renewal invites following the underwriting and pricing knowledge and guidance provided from our Underwriting Team.

What you will be doing:

Assist in achieving client retention targets by providing an excellent level of service.
Dealing with renewal enquiries within allocated authority level and in accordance the underwriting guide.
Independently manage own queries by contacting the claims department, brokers and customers.
Make effective decisions when dealing with existing policies, keeping detailed and accurate records of decisions made.
Ensure contract certainty is achieved on all accounts.
Record all relevant information, correspondence, and documentation on Acturis.You need to bring with you:

Experience of commercial insurance, ideally motor trade
CII Certified would be advantageous – or willing to work towards the certification
Underwriting experience would be advantageous
Good negotiation and broking skills.
