£65,000 – £90,000 + Bonus

SoCode have partnered with a leading Fintech company who are expanding their UK presence in the digital banking sector. They offer innovative banking options, delivered through the latest technologies and are achieving substantial growth.

A key part of this is focused on developing offerings with the customer at the centre of everything we do.  

Responsibilities:

Working in an agile squads methodology
Hands on development and execution of test strategies and plans
Developing test frameworks and infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines
Metric and trend analysis development
Debugging, triaging and providing solutions to the team
Start and complete test escape. Testing lessons learned
Minimum Qualifications:

Degree level education
2+ years hands on coding working as a SDET

Strong Java knowledge with Java Script understanding
Experience of functional, non-functional, regression and integration testing
Cucumber, Appium and detox experience
REST Assured, HTTP clients, libraries working with JSON files and other relevant tools

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

Experience in application development is beneficial.
Knowledge in BDD practices using supporting test automation frameworks.
Mobile application and mobile browser testing on physical devices.
Experience working with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) desirable.
Understanding of relational and no-SQL databases.
Experience with containers.
Clean coding and adherence to the software engineering best practices.
Atlassian toolset familiarity.
