Job Description
Elevation Senior Finance are delighted to be partnering with a successful FTSE100 manufacturing business to recruit a Site Accountant for their Widnes site.

This is a brand new role, reporting into the Site Director; you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial and management accounting tasks alongside business partnering with site management/other departments to help the business understand its financial performance.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

* All manufacturing Finance related activities, daily and weekly Key financial metrics review, month end close, standard cost setting and inventory management
* Undertaking and assisting bid pricing
* Providing financial support to the Site Director
* Coaching non-Finance individuals
* Financial forecasting both operations and site related
* Month end tasks including Shared Services coordination, review of results and spot checking of Journals
* Responsible for the month-end close
* Review of results against forecast
* Review of PPV and other costing variances across the region
* WIP & Inventory Analysis
* Statutory accounts and Audit coordination
* Coordination with both internal and external contacts to support UK Filings
* Project experience

Key Skills & Experience:

* Working closely with the business, you should possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to summarise and explain financial information for a non-finance audience
* You will be able to work well as part of a team as well as being capable of working autonomously when required
* You should be capable of working under pressure and be flexible in your approach to work
* Excellent planning and organisation skills
* You will be a proactive problem solver; capable of developing solutions to resolve user problems
* Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA, ideally with experience of cost accounting in a manufacturing business
