Job Description
Amplifi Talent have been retained by a PE backed advisory group to recruit a Senior Tax Manager on a permanent basis. Applications are invited from ambitious tax professionals who are keen to develop their careers in an entrepreneurial, forward-looking, and autonomous working environment. Our client is highly acquisitive and has quickly built up a number of practices within their group structure. The Senior Tax Manager will work across all of the firms, advising a blend of SME (up to c.£20M t/o currently), OMB, and high net worth individuals.
The Senior Tax Manager will have a focus on integrated tax planning for growing business (corporation tax, VAT planning, profit extraction and exit strategies) with some of the larger clients involving more complex transfer pricing and international issues. Additionally, the STM will be expected to bring an ethos of continuous improvement to existing systems and processes and work in conjunction with the senior team on the alignment and data migration as we integrate the acquisitions.
This is a highly visible role within the business and will require a clear communicator who has strong influencing abilities across a range of levels and teams. Key to this will be someone with an analytical approach and commercial eye for detail who can spot areas of opportunity to drive performance.
Given our clients initial focus on M&A and building their presence in Scotland geographically, this role can effectively be based anywhere across the East, West, or Central Scotland. There will be some travel involved to the different practices that make up the group, but there will also be the opportunity to work from home on a regular basis.
