Job Description
Senior Tax Analyst
Responsible for: Tax compliance activities
We are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will actively prepare and assist with the group’s tax affairs, The individual will build good working relationships and ensure all Tax Returns and payments are completed accurately and on time.
Key Accountabilities
1. Direct taxes
* Ownership of all Corporation Tax tasks to meet statutory deadlines, including but not limited to:
* Corporation tax return (P&L analysis, Capital allowances review, RDEC claim)
* Corporation tax payments
* Ensuring corporate withholding tax certificate and DTA certificates are completed as appropriate
* Completion of the local and actual tax and deferred tax balances for the Financial Reporting Team.
* Support with SAO documentation, group notifications and submissions (CBCR/CIR), as required
* Preparation with the PAYE Settlement Agreement and P11d reviews as appropriate
2. Indirect taxes
• Completion of the monthly and quarterly VAT returns
• Completion of overseas VAT returns
• Review of customs data and support with customs queries
3. Non-resident performer withholding tax
• Timely completion of the non-resident performer WHT returns for all applicable countries
• Ensure all payments withheld correctly and paid on time to the appropriate tax authorities
• Manage all communications with HMRC and any other Tax Authorities, including co-ordination of
Inspections
Candidate Profile
• AAT/ ATT or equivalent qualified or studying towards
• SAP experience desirable
• Competent with all basic Microsoft Office applications
• An enthusiastic individual who is able to work both independently and within a highly collaborative team.
• Must be able to work in fast paced, high pressured situations
• Problem solving and attention to detail is critical to this role
• The candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both colleagues and external parties
