Job Description
JR are looking to find an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join a globally recognised brand based in Nottingham. A fantastic and foward thinking organisation, you will be someone who not only loves Payroll but has a desire to make process improvements and really be part of a cohesive team looking to deliver excellent employee satisfaction.

You will have full payroll lifecyle experience, producing end to end in a high volume and/or multiple payrolls. As a Senior you will act as support to the Supervisor with an opportunity to improve reporting.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time following statutory legislation and company policy, utilising continuous process and system improvements

* Partner closely with the Reward, Pensions, Corporate/Regional Finance, Business Operations, Internal Audit, 3rd party consultancies and government bodies and be the escalation point for complex payroll issues raised by employees, the business and third parties

* Support in the production of the payroll each month along with the associated reporting in line with relevant procedures

* Ensure controls and procedures are in place and maintained to meet statutory deadlines and legislation, keeping on top of any legislation changes, while acting as a key contact and support for the business

* Analyse reporting requirements and delivers the information by utilising an expert knowledge of excel to manage and interrogate data extracted from multiple sources.

Key skills:

* Full payroll end to end experience is essential

* Exposure to high volume payroll of 1000+

* Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and able to gain clear agreement from others through persuasion, negotiation and promotion of ideas

* Extensive knowledge of statutory legislation relating to PAYE, National Insurance and Statutory Payments

* Experience and knowledge of complex company pension schemes, and current legislation with regards to Payroll and Pensions

* Detailed knowledge of employment law where this impacts on payroll

* Ability to understand complex company, employment and benefits policies

* Understanding of Audit principles
