Senior Accountant

Fully remote or hybrid arrangement in Worcestershire offices if preferred

A good opportunity to join a thriving international business with headquarters in Worcestershire as a Senior Accountant. The business has performed strongly in the past two years and has benefited from a diverse client base. This role sits at the heart of a good-sized finance team with the opportunity to progress in the future as well.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

* Preparation of management accounts for multiple entities

* Statutory accounting for UK and overseas legal entities

* Month-end reporting including consolidation and analysis

* Working closely with FP&A teams to analyse actuals vs budget

* VAT analysis, reporting and general ledger postings

* Liaising with Head Office departments such as M&A, Tax & Treasury, IT and HR

* Providing support for internal and external audits

* Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing as required

* Seeking opportunities to enhance profitability, cash flow and subsequent impact on working capital

We’d like you to be a qualified accountant with previous experience of management and statutory accounting. You will be adept at managing workloads for different entities and prioritising your time. You’ll also be a good team player with sound IT and Excel skills and an ability to analyse and interrogate data
