Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an expanding finance team as a Sales Ledger, based in Peterborough. Working within an established finance team you will be responsible for ensuring the timely collection of cash within agreed payment terms and credit limits.

You will be required to work within an extremely fast paced environment, where general duties include:

Identify unpaid balances that are subject to dispute/query to negotiate resolution with internal personnel to allow payment to be collected

Raising sales invoices, putting together and sending out reports to clients.

Upload payments into bank ready for authorisation

Processing credit notes

Maintain and monitor aged debt report

Build strong relationships with new customers in hope to open new accounts

Deal with customer receipts & reconciling customer accounts. 

Successful candidates must have the following skills:

Excellent communication skills

Team player

Previous experience as a Sales Ledger

Use of Sage software an advantage, but not essential

Good use of Excel and IT Literate
