Job Description
Job Title: Sales Ledger Administrator

Location: Sutton Coldfield

Basic Salary: £18,500 – £20,500 per annum DOE

Type: Permanent (with 2-3 days hybrid home working)

I'm looking for a Sales Ledger Administrator to join a fantastic company in Sutton Coldfield. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll ensure all purchases are processed and paid accordingly and the relevant entries into the accounting software are accurate. You must have a minimum 1 years experience gained in a similar role. 35 hours per week, part hybrid home working and a great team ethos make this an attractive role.

Other key responsibilities will include:

Processing sales invoice requests onto accounting system and assisting with credit control
Post cash receipts, income reports and associated entries from bank into control accounts
Reconcile daily entries and post to ledger
Assist in credit checking process and daily credit card reports
Complete monthly bank reconciliation
Weekly reconciliation of sales ledger
Provide daily cash forecasts

Requirements:

Minimum 1 years previous experience in a high volume ledger role (AP or AR)
Excellent communication skills
The ability to plan, organise and prioritise, working to strict deadlines
Experience of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central would be advantageous
Knowledge of MS Office with a good understanding of Excel (lookups/pivots)
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
