Quality Assessor (Investment Management) Job in Birmingham, West Midlands

Job Description
An excellent opportunity is available with a leading investment management institution based in Birmingham City centre for an Investments Quality Assessor on a permanent basis. This business operate an agile working pattern with three office days and two remote days per week.

The Investments Quality Assessor will check a sample of the regulated business transacted by the firm's certified persons in order to confirm suitability and that the business is conducted in accordance with the process and procedures laid down in the suitability manual and COBS rules.

About the role:

Provide monitoring oversight of the regulated activities undertaken by Certified persons
Assess the suitability of the regulated activities
Evidence and grade the outcomes of suitability reviews
Attend relevant training courses
Set appropriate action plans where issues are identified
Undertake any other duties as required.You will have strong Financial Services experience and a good understanding of Investment management strategies and financial markets.

Essential requirements include:

A strong knowledge of investments and experience of working with investments
Excellent understanding of Windows based programmes including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong organisation and administrative skills
Great attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
A strong work ethic.Ideally, you will hold or be working towards a Level 4 Investment Diploma.
