QA Test Engineer – Automation Job in Cardiff

Job Description
A talented Junior QA Automation Test Engineer who has experience of UI Testing is required by a market leading company for a home based position.  
The successful candidate will join an experienced team within an international, market leading technology company who are rapidly growing.

This position will help help add automation tests for the front and back ends.

Role Overview

An experienced QA Test Engineer, with solid knowledge of QA methodologies and processes, excellent automation testing experience and, ideally, knowledge of Ruby or Cucumber is required by a leading company with offices throughout the UK and across the world.  A salary of up to £40,000 plus benefits and progression is offered DOE.

This will be a home based position with the majority of the QA team based around Cardiff.

What you will be need;

The QA Test Automation Engineer will ideally have the majority of the following skills / qualifications:
– Good knowledge of QA methodologies and processes
– Experience of testing APIs using automation tools
– UI automation testing experience
– Strong documentation and communication skills

What you will doing;

– Automation testing
– UI testing 
– Development of automation tests alongside feature development
– Help develop QA test suite
– Manage defect processes

Would be useful but not essential;

– Ruby programming exposure
– Cucumber BDD
– Experience of writing API tests

Salary
Basic salary to £40,000 + Benefits
