£20,000 to £23,000 dependent on experience

We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join us as part of our busy team in our Group Fleet Division, based at our Gateshead site with the opportunity of some remote working from home.

About the role

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for inputting and coding invoices, reconciling supplier statements, bacs payment runs and dealing with any enquiries via email or phone. The role requires someone who is analytical with a high attention to detail and can use their initiative to make independent decisions.

About you

You will have some experience gained from within a similar role and have a knowledge of accounting and IT systems as well as enjoying working as a part of a team. Experience of using Kerridge and working within the automotive industry is advantageous though not essential although you must be comfortable with excel. A willingness to learn and the ability to influence and build relationships with a variety of people whilst demonstrating our core values with both colleagues and customers alike is also key to this role.
