About the team

The Change Cluster is made up of three key areas – Supply Chain and Operations, Change Managed Capacity and Change Managed Services. We provide hands-on delivery capability, backed-up by tried and tested technology, methodologies and infrastructure to assist clients with their projects and programmes using a model that is cost effective and scalable.

Role and Responsibilities

Develops and maintains project / programme plans by working with a variety of teams and stakeholders.

Provide comments and recommendations for planning & scheduling requirements relative to staffing & project control.

Identifying, analysing and reporting performance variances to management and working with teams to develop performance recovery plans and incorporate recovery plans into schedules where appropriate

Monitor & report schedule performance using recognised techniques to support assessment of total project performance against established baseline.

Prepares planning & scheduling information for management /clients in varying report outputs.

Track and manage dependencies

Undertake schedule Change Management.

As a PwC project / programmer planner, you will work as a key member of the PMO team developing the forward plan to enable the successful delivery of the project / programme. This will involve working closely with clients and PwC staff to define and agree how the Project / programme will be structured and delivered. Your output will form the schedule baseline, a key anchor against which you will manage subsequent programme performance and any potential changes that occur. Your work will require you to think ahead, as we plan in detail for the short term within the context of what needs to be delivered overall.

Skills and Experience

Candidates will need to have experience of working in planning and schedule development including monitoring, reviewing, control and analysis of scheduling artefacts

Performing planning and scheduling functions in Microsoft Project and other common planning tools.

You will also need to have experience in dealing with stakeholders across various levels and working as part of a wider team.
