Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a 10 month contract role working as a Payroll & Benefits Administrator, the role could go permanent or be extended, however initially the role will be 10 months. The appropriate candidate must be immediately available or on short notice, if any of the below is of interest please apply, and one of consultants will contact you with more information. 2 days in the office.

Accurately process payroll by maintaining accurate payroll processing system and records by collating, checking, calculating, and preparing payroll input data
Check and resolve corrections before payroll cut-off dates and ensure highest levels of data accuracy and cleanliness in the HR System (Workday)
On-board new joiners and process and off-board leavers, handle salary/pension changes and processing of sickness/absence, maternity/paternity leave.
Be the first point of contact for all payroll related issues – Manage all payroll related queries proactively resolving them or escalating when necessary
Identify and investigate discrepancies in payroll reports in a timely manner
Assisting with data manipulation, audit and reporting – assist in the checking of payroll reports ready for submission and approval for payment
Help maintain required payroll records and reporting and assist with end-of-year preparation and associated data submitted to the HMRC
Help create data analysis and reporting as required, to support monthly/annual payroll reporting and ad-hoc reporting required from the finance team
Helping to ensure that payroll processes, policies and documentation are kept up to date, and supporting with external payroll audits.
Proactively handle all aspects of day-to-day benefit provision
Respond to and resolve pension scheme queries from employees and our pension scheme provider. Escalating complex queries as necessary.
Off-board leavers, and process relevant data for leavers in relation to benefit and pension plans.
Assist with the annual renewal process for benefit plans (e.g. private medical, income protection scheme, life insurance schemes.
Maintain reward information and policies in line with strategic direction and regulatory requirements, within policy, 'how to' guides and within the HR system (Workday)
Maintain integrity of benefit records, recommend process improvements and automate where possible
Assisting with Pension administration duties
Ensure incoming service requests/work tasks to the HelloHR Service
Desks are completed withinagreed SLAs; personally, manage incoming service requestsrelating to pay and reward matters.
Support the wider HelloHR team with responding to tickets, where workload allows and/or in times of workload peak
Participate in project activities undertaken by the wider HR team, which include cross functional projects
To maintain appropriate confidentiality of information relating to the Company and HR data and maintain compliant with secure data.
