Job Description
Experienced Accounts Assistant required to join a leading transport and logistics firm based near Heathrow, on a full time, permanent basis. Our client are specifically looking for an experienced Finance Assistant who has prior experience within the logistics, freight or transportation industry.
Accounts Assistant Position Overview
As Finance Assistant, your day to day duties will be broad and will include:-
Processing sales orders
Daily banking and updating banking reports
Weekly creditors payments
Prepare financial reports for senior management
Filing data into their internal software.
Processing financial transactions.
Invoicing
Answering phone calls.
Day to day enquires.
Processing sales invoices
Set up new accounts
Credit card receipts and reconciliations
Assigning purchase orders
Making sure bank payments are all up to date.
Accounts Assistant Position Requirements
Previous experience in an accounts assistant or finance assistant role
Experience in Freight Forwarding – beneficial.
Knowledge of Sage accounting – highly beneficial
Hardworking and eager to learn new skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Hands on individual.
Based within a commutable distance of Colnbrook.
Accounts Assistant Position Remuneration
Salary £25,000 – £30,000 (Dependant on experience)
Monday to Friday 09:00am – 17:30
23 days holiday plus bank holidays.
