Job Description
PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR – maternity cover
An excellent opportunity has come up for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a leading manufacturing business with multiple sites across the country. Based in Doncaster you will be working within the payroll department (office based) processing the monthly payroll for multiple sites. The successful candidate will have previous experience, be able to start in October 2022, and ideally looking for full time Monday to Friday hours. Some flexibility can be given with hours providing full time hours are worked during the 2 payroll weeks in the month.
Salary for the Payroll Administrator: £23,000-£25,000 dependent on experience, 38 hours per week, pension and flexible working hours
* Managing the full end to end payroll process including calculation, reconciliations & month end reports
* Working as part of a payroll team to process 30 site payrolls across UK & Ireland covering 4 different pay dates 15th, 24th, 25th & 1st.
* Processing large month end pensioner payroll
* Strong payroll knowledge including understanding of SMP & SSP calculations required
* Payroll Software is Oracle HRMS which is an integrated Payroll & HR System
* New Starters
* Leavers
* Salary & hours changes
* Adhoc payments & deductions
* Good knowledge of Excel required
* Providing support & knowledge to HR Managers at site
* Answering queries from employees / pensioners / site HR & Finance leads / Auditors
* Processing weekly Time & Attendance files for 4 sites
* T&A Platform is ADP
