Job Description
Job title: Management Accountant

Salary Range: £40,000 to £50,000 + pension

Location: Telford, Shropshire

Industry/ Strapline: Family owned Manufacturing firm

A Site Management Accountant is required for a permanent position with a family owned manufacturing business based in the Telford area. Reporting in to the Managing Director, we are open to considering part qualified, qualified or qualified by experience applicants with relevant experience across the manufacturing and engineering sectors. It is also essential that you have recent working knowledge of Sage 200.  Once you are established in your role, you will be offered the flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week.

The medium to long term plan for this position, is to develop the person in to the Finance Director for the Business. The initial Management Accountant responsibilities will include:

Weekly bank reconciliations
Weekly cash flow reporting
Monthly Payroll using Sage 50
Provide summaries for monthly sales for Uk and European subsidiaries
Prepare consolidated management accounts
Forecast management accounts including P&L and balance sheet
Quarterly VAT returns
