Job Description
Management Accountant required for a superb business based in Sutton Coldfield. This service based business is looking for a Management Accountant, responsible for the preparation of management accounts for an integral division and to assist the Group Accountant in Group accounting, preparation of management information, overseeing Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) reporting as well as being involved with additional project work. Key tasks:

– Maintain up to date procedures and ensure they are followed for tasks including:
– Journals
– Accruals and Prepayments
– Running and saving Management Accounts
– Management of accounts and associated schedules and KPI's
– Manage the month end process for the division and ensure the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts and management information.
– To liaise with the Financial Accountant to ensure monthly revenue is in line with expectations and to redistribute revenue between cost centres
– Review designated accruals and prepayments on a monthly basis
– Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports accurately and timely including variance analysis and statistical data
– Review Revenue and Volume postings on a monthly basis
– Preparation of monthly schedules, flash packs and KPI's for the Executive Management team and Board of Directors. To include graphical analysis to give a visual representation of performance
– To assist in the preparation of MI and data analysis, through excel reports and database queries, to provide concise and meaningful information to non-financial staff and external parties
– Preparation of commission payments and clawbacks
– Preparation and allocation of claims from insurance companies
