Job Description
Our client, a successful and highly desirable employer in Norwich, are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Management Accountant to join their dynamic team. This is a newly created role out of growth and is a fantastic opportunity for a Part-Qualified Accountant looking to build on their experience.
This organisation have a highly flexible approach to hybrid working and allow staff to to work up to 4 days per week from home.
Reporting to the Head of Finance this role will include:
– Assist in the production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts
– Variance analysis with commentary at cost centre level vs Budget and Forecast
– Assistance with the production of budgets & forecasts
– Balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
– Administration of Group recharges, inter-company funding transactions and franchise fees
– Preparation of monthly cash flow forecasts
– Assisting Head of Finance & Finance Business Partners as required with ad hoc analysis
– Supporting the team in delivering a successful external and internal audit

– Self-motivated with the ability to work accurately, independently and to deadlines.
– Ability to demonstrate an understanding for the need of confidentiality in dealing with sensitive issues.
– Excellent attention to detail with the ability to actively seek and find solutions to problems
– Ability to investigate enquiries and respond in a timely manner
Experience Required:
– Previous experience of management accounts preparation from end to end working in a busy environment
– Fully qualified AAT minimum or part or fully qualified ACCA/ACA from either a practice background or experience through industry.
– Proven IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel with the ability to present information in forms, tables, and spreadsheets.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Experience working in fast moving commercial organisation or experience working with fast moving commercial organisations if from a practice background
