Logistics Account Manager Job in Knowsley, Merseyside
Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Account Manager to work for its busy logistics client based in the North Liverpool area.
The Logistics Administrator provides support to programme operations and assists the operations team with sales order management, inventory management, quality control and operations performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Satisfying sales orders, from receipt of purchase order to invoice
Investigating material shortfalls and liaising with the project team to resolve
Working with the nominated supply chain manager to fulfil customer orders
Maintaining records of contract activity
Supporting periodic inventory audits
General Operational Duties
Processing of sales orders including the movement of inventory between goods in/out and stores locations, packaging and labelling for shipment and the accounting of all material in that process
Updating the programme team with live order status, in accordance with the contract drumbeat
Understand and apply all policies, processes and procedures around compliance and governance
Hours of work
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Salary up to £24,000 dependant on experience
