Job Description
Our prestigious and successful client based in Stoke on Trent is a leader in their field. They are looking for a Funding Administrator Team Leader to join their busy team. You will report to the department Manager and will be their second-in-command.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading a purchase ledger, sales ledger or credit control team. You’ll be responsible for managing a team of accounts assistants and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the transactional side of the business. You will also be familiar with contracts, as you will be responsible for dealing with the extension and restructuring of contracts in order to drive margins.
Duties will include:
You will monitor a team of Accounts Assistants who are responsible for posting bank transactions, purchase and sales ledger, and funding and credit processes
Dealing with the day-to-day management of the team
Dealing with contract extensions and restructures in order to drive margins
Update banks with lease financial changes e.g. restructures and extensions For the Funding Administrator Team Leader, it would be good to see candidates with:
Experience leading a team of credit controllers or purchase/sales ledger assistants
Experience within the motor industry
Knowledge of contracts including how they are put together and contract extensions/restructures
Wide-ranging experience operating and using various accounting packages and systems
Excellent IT skills including Excel (Vlookups/Pivot tables)
A proactive and enthusiastic approach
Good time management skills Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm
Salary: £30k – £33k per annum
