Job Description
Axon Moore are working with an impressive business in Doncaster who are at the forefront of their market.  Looking for an interim Financial Controller for a period of circa 6-9 months to manage a finance team located locally and take on a number of projects.

The purpose of the role is to cover a period of change and ensure that daily, weekly and monthly activities are completed in a timely manner to the agreed deadlines whilst assisting with a streamlining project.

Duties as Financial Controller:

Review the monthly management accounts and board pack
Management of finance teams, including purchase ledger, sales ledger and cashier
Prepare year end accounts, working with auditors to finalise statutory accounts
Review controls and reconciliations produced by the team
Oversee the management of monthly balance sheet reviews and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
Support and where needed oversee ongoing improvements to processes and systems
Person Specification:

We are looking for a top tier candidate on an interim basis who can manage a time of change and transformation in the finance team

Fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
Wealth of experience at FC level and a strong manager
Managed similar teams through periods of change
Managed a system implementation previously (mot essential)
Immediately available for interview / start
Able to hit the ground running
