Job Description
Elevation is delighted to be working with a successful engineering business in Huddersfield to find their next Finance Manager. As this is a vacant position, it could start as a permanent appointment or temp-to-perm, depending on the circumstances of the candidate.

They need someone to start immediately.

This is a senior role with responsibility for producing the full accounts for the UK site of the Group.

Managing an experience team of 2 people and reporting to group, this is an exciting challenge for anyone with prior team management experience to step into this role.

*Preparation and submission of management accounts reporting pack
*Responsibility for annual budget preparation and submission
*Prepare half year forecast and submission
*Prepare statutory accounts for audit and submission of Group annual reporting package
*Maintain and analyse standard costing for reporting and valuation purposes.
*Prepare and submit VAT returns
*Check Corporation tax returns prepared by the auditors
*Responsible for monthly payroll
*Prepare and submit P11D's
*Preparation and submission of weekly cash flow forecast
*Payments and accruals
*Manage relationships with key partners (Bank / Insurance / Pension)
*Maintain relationships with group management
*Prepare various reports as requested by management using MS Excel finance system
*Reconcile key nominal accounts in preparation for month end

This is a FULLY SITE-BASED role in Huddersfield

Ideal candidate:
– Qualified or QBE
– Experience of team management
– Experience in Manufacturing or Engineering sector previously and be able to understand costing and inventory
– Able to be on site 5 days per week
