My client is a well-established wide-spread Commercial Property Consultancy, with offices based all across the UK.

An exciting job has arisen to join them working as a Head of Residential Accounts, supporting a large team of dedicated accounts employees of varying levels in their careers.

Job description for Head of Residential Accounts

* Manage Residential Property Portfolios across three in-house systems.

* Process and pay over 50,000 invoices per annum.

* Direct a team of over 30 accounts staff of varying experience, both in person and remotely.

* Lead and manage projects relating to the property management accounts.

* Compliance maintenance at all times in respects to RICS (including Service Charges).

* Approval and monitoring of in-house HR systems for direct reports.

* Complete performance reviews and keep up to date on employee’s progression/ professional development.

* Review monthly bank reconciliations, rent collection statistics and service charge completion statistics.

Job skills required for Head of Residential Accounts

* Minimum 5 years accounting/systems experience.

* Sound knowledge of property Management Accounts systems.

* Inspirational outlook on management styles and employee support.

* Strong, influential leadership skills, with a hands-on approach.

* Solid analytical skills with extensive multi-disciplinary systems knowledge.

* Awareness of RICS regulations, and all other general accounting procedures, regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
