Head of Life and Benefits Research – Hybrid
Location: Hybrid Working in London
Salary: Competitive
Contract: 15 Month FTC

As our Head of Life Benefits Insurance Research, you will:
* Coordinate the relationship between external consultants and internal staff to guarantee smooth and effective collaboration and sharing of best practice collaborators.
* Oversee day-to-day operations, monitor team performance, work allocation, and report on metrics
* Participate in internal and external meetings in a subject matter expertise capacity, often working alongside our Sales and Marketing teams
* Identify appropriate changes to end-to-end processes and procedures through analysis of multiple sources of data
* Produce regular updates to the senior management team on the performance of all Life & Benefits products
* Lead and support the ongoing implementation of the strategy of the Life & Benefits team
* Ensure that all new members of staff are adequately onboarded, trained, and appropriately supervised to perform their role
* Project Manage the team’s day to day structure providing regular updates to the head of department.
* Evaluate staff knowledge, skill gaps, training needs and career developments in line with the internal growth plan
* Manage the hire to retire life cycle of the Life and Benefit team.
* Provide support to the Data and Operations Director as required.
You must have:
* Proven work experience leading a team as research team with a track record of delivering results
* Strong awareness of the requisites around the placement of insurance policies and general operating requirements
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and delegate tasks effectively and meet deadlines
* Ability to communicate clearly and with confidence to all levels of staff, including at the most senior levels
* Excellent people engagement skills and experience of influencing a multi-disciplinary team of professionals
* Ability to assimilate large amounts of data and produce concise summaries in an appropriate format.
* Proficiency in MS Office software (Word and Excel)
* Additional language skills will be very well regarded
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
