Howarth Morris has been appointed to recruit for a privately owned, facilities management company with significant UK operations. They maintain a strong order book with repeat clients across both private and public sectors. This is a business with a great reputation, an ambitious owner and exciting growth plans. They are now seeking a Head of Finance to support in the delivery of that business plan.
  
Based in Stoke-on-Trent and reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will immediately become part of the Senior Leadership Team.  With supervisory responsibility for a team of 3, you will have accountability for the financial and commercial strategy of the business. The successful candidate will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified with significant PQE, and be assertive, persuasive, positive and commercially astute.

Your responsibilities will extend to:

Management of all finance activities including monthly management reporting, budgets and forecasts
Providing input and challenge to business strategy
Development, appraisal, and motivation of staff
Management of external relationships with all professional advisors
Participating fully in the management of the Company and to provide input, strategy, and commercial activities as appropriate Experience from within construction, engineering, manufacturing, or facilities management would be advantageous.  Excellent communication skills are essential, we are looking for someone who can develop strong internal relationships and liaise with all levels of staff.
